RoboCop movie

When discussing the best action films of the 1980s, failing to include RoboCop is the ultimate form of dishonor. Paul Verhoeven's Hollywood film debut is not only a keystay of 1980s action flicks but also one of the sharpest, though most offensive, satires. The film is easy to dismiss as action film fodder from another era. However, the years that followed have only highlighted Robocop’s importance more than ever. It may have the appearance of an action flick, which is what we love about it, but the real magic of Paul Verhoeven’s vast body of work lies underneath.
